Google and Amazon Entering The Food Delivery Market

Lately the online food delivery services are increasing in US and the demand is also growing among customers because of the ease and convenience the industry provides to the consumers. Due to the growing demand some big names that were somewhat unrelated to the sector are also entering the market. These companies are trying to reap the benefits from the rapidly growing industry and demand.

Google and Amazon are two such names that are entering the sector of online food delivery services. According to Bloomberg reports Google will be starting to test its online grocery delivery services this year. It will start the trial from in San Francisco and one more location along with partners like Whole Foods and Costco.

According to GeekWire report, Amazon is also trying its luck by starting its Prime Now restaurant delivery service in Seattle. Amazon also provides the facility of coupon vouchers for providing discounts to the customers. Now let’s see if it provide Amazon coupons for the customers of this sector or not.

Although the industry is also reaching saturation, Google and Amazon will leave no stone unturned to make its mark in the segment and capture a big segment of the industry.
