Dominos Follows You Wherever You Go

Dominos is the largest pizza retail chain in India, presently working in 199 cities and having more than 800 restaurants and delivery outlets, it is the very first preference of many Indian customers while ordering pizzas.

Dominos constantly work to improve their services and keeping the Indian travellers in mind and to bring the more variety to their existing menu, it now offering pizzas on train as well which enable customers to order their favourite pizzas on their journey and get it delivered at your seat.

Recently there is a pact signed by Indian railways and Jubilant Food Works Ltd,  the parent company of Dominos in India on a temporarily basis to provide pizzas and other beverages in Indian trains which don’t have pantry cars. This service will enable train passengers to order and enjoy hot and crispy pizzas at his or her seat while travelling. Dominos is famous for its crispy pizza products of many sizes and crust types but you can also purchase boneless wings and chicken, pasta, sandwiches, desserts, appetisers and many other food and drink products. This service was initially available in 120 trains and at 12 major stations named as New Delhi, Alwar, Agra, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Ambala, Mathura, Pathankot, Muzzafarnagar, Vadodara, Bharuch, Vapi. At this time this service is limited to trains which don’t have pantry cars but in coming days Dominos have plans to extend this service to 120 more trains and many other railway stations.

Presently customers can avail this service by simply order their food by phone call, by sending SMS or by using IRCTC website.

If you are using Phone call:
1800-1034-139 (toll-free)
0120-4383892-99

If you want to order through SMS:
SMS MEAL along with PNR number to 139.

If you want to book online, then visit:

This service is just like home delivery but passengers have to order two hours before the train’s scheduled arrival at the station to avail this service. With thousands of complaints register on a daily basis about food served in trains, this fantabulous service offered by Dominos is surely a saviour to many passengers. Although this food providing business in trains is very new and unique but it not gives any much profit to Dominos yet. Just 350 orders have been placed in the past four months whereas Dominos manages these orders successfully without any hassle.

Profit or no profit but this service may trigger a start of new business model in India as after the Dominos, many other food providers like KFC, Pizza hut, Subway and other food chains also tries to negotiate with the IRCTC to offer the same service to Indian commuters.
